BNP Paribas Cardif Brazil has taken another important step to expand its social responsibility. The company just closed a partnership with the NGO called TETO (“A Roof for My Country”). This institution t works with families in squatter settlements and poor communities to help improve the quality of life by constructing houses and launching social empowerment programs.

The company’s participation occurred in two ways. First, it financed ten emergency houses, according to the model developed by the institution. Then, 50 people, including employees and their families, volunteered to assist in the construction of five houses in a community of Santo André in June 2012.
