Following the serious earthquakes in northern Italy, BNL launched a series of initiatives to support families and businesses that have been affected.

The measures taken are mostly financial in nature, including a suspension of monthly payments for mortgage loans on damaged real estate; the cancellation of fees for wire transfers related to fundraising in support of the victims; and the establishment of a solidarity fund for small- and medium-sized enterprises that have felt the effects of this natural disaster.

The bank’s staff was quick to respond and highly professional during this challenging time. The BNL Foundation has, in its own right, designated a certain amount of money to help the hardest-hit victims.
