No less than 70 volunteers from BNP Paribas Fortis turned out last weekend to lend a hand at the 31st Special Olympics, held in Liège.
Running from 16 to 19 May, this unique sporting occasion saw some 3,250 mentally-handicapped athletes compete in a rich programme consisting of 19 events, where taking part was clearly more important than winning.

BNP Paribas Fortis Foundation would like to offer its heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, supporters and their families who answered the call for assistance.  Some 50 of the volunteers came from the Province of Liège.
