A glimpse of the names performing on the 37th edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival, starting July 2012.
Van Morrison, Macy Gray & David Murray Big Band Blues and the Wayne Shorter Quartet will perform on this year’s edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival, together with artists like Melody Gardot, Gregory Porter, Amos Lee and Tony Bennett.
Other artistis who will play on the festival are The Kyteman Orchestra, Janelle Monáe, McCoy Tyner Trio with Ravi Coltrane, Pat Metheny Unity Band, Dave Holland Quartet, Robert Glasper Experiment, Hugh Laurie, Spectrum Road (Jack Bruce, John Medeski, Cindy Blackman and Vernon Reid), Ahmad Jamal, Joe Lovano-Dave Douglas Quintetand the Hiromi Trio with Anthony Jackson and Simon Philips.
A special night concert will be given by Lenny Kravitz during the night from Friday to Saturday.
Late in April, the complete line up and specified schedule will be announced.
