The association Théâtre du bout du monde was created in 1990 by André Bonnet, Miguel Borras and Philippe Guérin. Their goal? To build a theatre where people of different cultures and pathways can cross.
The association offers a program to young people living in disadvantaged neighborhoods called “Ulysse, à l’ombre de l’olivier” (Ulysses, in the shadow of the olive tree). This program brings together, in one performance, the result of the theatre workshops taking place in different countries close to the Mediterranean.
These workshops, called “Ateliers Euroméd”, all share the same goal: to give access to culture through theatre.
The association “Théâtre du bout du monde” is supported by the BNP Paribas Foundation’s Coup de pouce programme.
