To create musical instruments out of found objects abandoned on the street: this was the original vision of Jean-Louis Mechali, founder and artistic director of the Lutherie Urbaine association.
This week’s BlogTV is an intimate encounter filled with original and creative tunes…a story of a shared passion and the birth of a one-of-a-kind project as innovative as it is inspiring.
Today, more and more young people (and not-so-young people!) come to take part in the association’s instrument-creation workshops, and more and more musicians bring Jean-Louis’ musical creations to life.
Lutherie Urbaine is supported by the BNP Paribas Foundation’s Projet Banlieues programme.
