The Issy-les-Moulineaux inter-company relay race for the mentally disabled, organised by the association Special Olympics France, was supported by nearly 15 companies (L’Equipe, Sodexo, Eurosport, etc.) and attended by more than 100 participants.

Special Olympics is a global sporting movement that now has 1.2 million athletes and 1.5 million volunteers throughout the world.

Since 1991, Special Olympics has organised sporting events throughout the year, designed for people with intellectual disabilities. These events enable them to develop their physical fitness, share in the joys of competing and achieving goals, acquire greater self-confidence and demonstrate their courage.

It also organises several relay races for companies aimed at collecting funds in an enjoyable and collaborative way, enabling the general public to find out about the activities of Special Olympics France and above all to raise awareness of mental disabilities.

Three cheers for the teams of BNP Paribas Real Estate who performed brilliantly … for a good cause!
