Within the framework of its social and environmental responsibility, BNP Paribas supports “Microfinance Sans Frontières” association, which provides technical assistance to Microfinance Institutions (MFI) through a network of volunteers (active or retired, from the bank or not). Since its inception, MFSF has carried out around 50 missions in 10 countries for 12 different MFIs. MFSF is proud to announce its contribution to Entrepreneurs du Monde’s project in Haiti through a 2.000€ donation.
Entrepreneurs du Monde (EDM) is a French association that contributes to improve living conditions of poor households through capital access, savings account, trainings and coaching. To reach its mission, EDM provides technical, operational and/or financial support to partner organizations all around the world.
In Haiti, EDM support a microcredit program targeting financially excluded people by financing income-generating activities (snack, sales points, and handcraft). This program is not yet sustainable. Given its deep social impact and in the aftermath of the seism, MFSF gave a donation to EDM. The average microcredit amount of EDM in Haiti being 173€, this donation will have a direct impact on 11 Haitian microentrepreneurs.

i am happy to know that the group Bnpparibas supports microfinance projects over the world. I like to know the possibilities of job in bnpparibas in this activity particulary interresting. I hope this activity will be in progress in the future.
In terms of job opportunities, there are no vacancies in Microfinance at BNP Paribas currently. However, if you have some competencies useful for Microfinance Institutions (audit, controlling, risk management, business planning, MIS…), and if you are interested in volunteering, you can submit an application to MFSF.
