The new Belgian entity “BNP Paribas Fortis Foundation” (born of the union of 14 years’ experience at Fortis Foundation Belgium and the values of the BNP Paribas group) has launched its first programme: Help 2 Help.

In the ‘Coup de Pouce’ spirit of the Fondation BNP Paribas France, Help2Help has been specially created to encourage solidarity initiatives in which BNP Paribas Fortis staff are personally involved. This project expresses the group’s wish to promote dialogue between the banking world and sectors relating to culture and associations through the group’s core values: ambition, commitment, creativity and responsiveness.
From 2006 onwards Fortis Foundation Belgium offered its staff a similar project known as the “Help Program”.
The Help2Help programme is organised in the form of a call for projects which is sent out twice a years at BNP Paribas Fortis and BNP Paribas in Belgium.
The first period was launched for staff on 15 March this year and will end on 31 May.
The Foundation has also developed the Help2Help Plus programme, a variation of the Help2Help programme intended for those in the BNP Paribas Fortis group in Belgium having retired or taken early retirement.
