The Human Resources department and personnel representatives of BNP Paribas Luxembourg have decided to launch a donation collection in order to aid the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. These donations will be used to finance a project they initiated called “100 Shelters for the Homeless” (100 abris pour les sans-abri).

The sums collected from employees will be donated to the Luxembourg Red Cross, and thanks to these donations, shelter kits or emergency shelters will be purchased and distributed in the regions affected by the earthquake. An emergency housing kits costs around 49 euros, thus a donation of 50 euros will enable a family to live in a temporary shelter.

Teams in Luxembourg are committed to their goal of 100 shelters, allowing 100 families to protect themselves against the elements of mother nature. In addition to the employee donations,  BNP Paribas Group will also donate a generous amount to this humanitarian cause.
