La Boudeuse dropped its anchor for a few days at Dakar, Senegal in the beginning of December. For this occasion a number of clients and employees of BICIS, the subsidiary of BNP Paribas, were able to visit the ship and meet the crew.

A reception took place on the boat in the presence of Jean-Christophe Ruffin, Ambassador, writer and member of the International Women’s Club of Dakar, a Senegalese humanitarian organisation.

Having successfully raised awareness among the population of Dakar, Patrice Franceschi and his crew were left with full encouragement and enthusiasm for their next destination: French Guinea.
