BNP Paribas Bulgaria joins the Bulgarian Charity Aid Foundation (BCAF) for a third consecutive year in the initiative “Get ready to succeed”. November 5th 2009, in the frame of the project, 117 orphaned young people (76 university students and 41 high school pupils) received annual scholarships during academic year 2009/2010 for excellent academic results. The program is running nationwide and has an extremely beneficial effect on young people – not just in a financial sense, it also provides them with motivation and self-confidence.

This initiative adds to the numerous social projects of BNP Paribas Bulgaria which encourage the integration of the underprivileged among which “One day out of the orphanage“, “Tennis for everybody” and “Soup Kitchen“. In addition, BNP Paribas Bulgaria and French School Victor Hugo organised, in September, a large donation of school items for orphans in order to provide the young students in need with all the necessary tools for the start of the school year. Each pupil of the French school and the employees of BNP Paribas in Bulgaria brought school kit and/or school books which were then collected and distributed to orphanages.
