Created in 2001 through the goodwill of a collective of artists and instrument makers, the association Culture and Cooperation follows a double objective: to initiate and implement cooperative musical projects and help with the development of cultural activities; to produce and play musical performances depicting intercultural dialogue.
A historic figure of philanthropy in France, BNP Paribas Foundation has crossed the path of these atypical and generous artists. Partnered with Culture and Cooperation since 2005, the Foundation has helped the association develop its projects.
Philippe Bachman, founder of Culture and Cooperation, discusses the fabrication, the restoration of instruments, the establishment of workshops, training, and also musical programs, all with the same objective: to illustrate musical diversity and intercultural dialogue.
