BNP Paribas’ subsidiary Arval will celebrate its partnership with the program Carbon Action Good Planet Association , by showing the movie ” Home” the latest creation of the famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, co-produced by Luc Besson, internationally acclaimed French director, and the group PPR.
The movie invites us to take a trip around the planet. It is entirely made of images taken from the sky, aiming to show the beauty of a planet, which is in danger, today more than ever before.
The premiere will take place on June 5th, 2009, on World Environment Day. There will be a second projection on June 8th, for those who missed the first showing.
This initiative has yet another dimension, namely to re-emphasize Arval’s comittment for the preservation of the environment, more specifically through raising awareness among its employees.
Interesting to note : the premiere of “Home” will happen on June 5th, 2009, simulataneously on all media (movie theaters, television, DVD, and Internet www.GoodPlanet.org) and on the five continents.
Among the most talked about showings of “Home” are the projection in Mexico, in the context of the official celebrations of United Nation’s Environment Programme and the projection of the Champs de Mars, near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
