In the last weekend of May a team of 25 employees of Cardif Netherlands took part in the Roparun, the biggest charity running event in the world. The run consists of 530 kilometers between Paris and Rotterdam and Cardif was one of the 275 teams to participate in this year’s edition. After months of intensive training, runners, bicyclers, drivers, physiotherapists and a dedicated catering team made it to the finish in Rotterdam in a great time and can look back at an experience never to forget.

The Roparun Foundation is entirely dedicated to the fight against cancer and Cardif embraced the challenge to raise funds for this very special charity. Several fund raising activities were organized throughout the first half of the year, from individual bets to a concert and a tennis tournament for brokers.

The most recent partner of the BNP Paribas Group in the Netherlands, Insinger de Beaufort was one of the main sponsors of the tennis tournament, offering a great opportunity to collaborate within the group.
