Finansol is a professional association founded in 1995, which brings together solidarity-based financiers and financial institutions. Finansol has awarded its label to three schemes from BNP Paribas Investment Partners:

• BNP Paribas Obli Ethéis is a solidarity-oriented fund that invests in Euro zone bonds. This fund is mainly designed for individual investors who would like to be involved in microfinancing initiatives.
• Multipar Solidaire Prudent is a socially responsible fund that invests in short-term Euro zone bonds and finances ADIE, the French association for the right to economic initiative.
• Multipar Solidaire Dynamique is a socially-responsible fund which invests in equity markets and which finances the associations France Active et Habitat et Humanisme.

Brief remindersolidarity-based finance is geared to financing economic initiatives that contribute to the fight against exclusion, the promotion of social cohesion and sustainable development.  People who do not have access to the conventional banking and financial circuits can receive financing from people who wish to have their spare funds invested along solidarity-based lines. Moreover, it fosters social commitment from investment institutions.

This label underlines the commitment of BNP Paribas to microfinance, and its recognition of the fact that this is a socially useful banking activity and a natural area to focus on in the pursuit of good corporate citizenship.
