BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) has decided to continue its business gift policy, allocating the budget normally reserved for year-end business gifts to charities.
CIB is committed this year to a global cause: the prevention and the treatment of infectious diseases. This issue is being addressed jointly with the Institut Pasteur, a non profit private foundation which contributes to the prevention and the treatment of disease, primarily infectious diseases, through research, education and public health activities at a global level, supported by the BNP Paribas foundation.
In 29 countries, BNP Paribas has brought its financial support to the Institut Pasteur’s international network of research teams and collaborative partnerships involved in various issues such as hepatitis C (Spain), ameobiasis (India), typhoid fever (Ireland), dengue hemorrhagic fever (Mexico), West Nile virus (Czech republic), avian flu (France), malaria (Colombia, Brazil), measles and HIV (United Kingdom), tuberculosis (Belgium) …
These various initiatives are taken to assert CIB’s social responsibility.
