The BNP Paribas Foundation has sponsored the “Piano aux Jacobins” Festival for twenty years. The 29th Festival took place in Toulouse from the 5th to 26th September 2008 in the “Cloître des Jacobins”, a well-known historic venue with very warm acoustics.

The Festival was notable for its many new discoveries of young talent, as well as for presenting famous masters, such as the Chinese pianist Fou T’song and the well-known jazz improviser Martial Solal.

This remains a captivating musical meeting point, presenting a variety of compositions both new and old.
