BICIM, a BNP Paribas subsidiary in Mali, provides support for “Samusocial du Mali”, and is one of the organisation’s first two private partners from the world of finance.

Since 1998, Samusocial International has been combating the marginalisation of various groups in the world’s largest cities, bringing help and hope to isolated people.
In Africa, several organisations have been set up to organise a network of Samusocial associations working with children in the streets of Bamako, Dakar and Ouagadougou.
This initiative, known as “Coordination Afrique”, was launched to initiate and develop synergies between partners of Samusocial at the local level, with the aim of combating the marginalisation of children on African streets. Such children often suffer from illnesses and psychosocial problems, which is why the aim of the Urgency Mobile Aid Service (Service d’Aide Mobile d’Urgence Sociale) is to supply medical, educational, social and psychological help to them – in short, to reintegrate the children into society.
