Since 1993, BNP Paribas has been supporting wheelchair tennis by acting as a sponsor to the French Wheelchair Tennis International.

Since then, the Bank’s sponsorship of the sport has been continuously developed, culminating in 2004 with the signing of a worldwide agreement with the Tennis Committee of the French Federation for Sport for the Handicapped.

This year, the “BNP Paribas French Open” will take place June 24 thru 29 in the Grenouillère Stadium in the Parc de Sceaux in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine). The 2008 year will be one of the most important tournaments on the international Sport for the Handicapped agenda, the BNP Paribas French Open will bring together more than 100 players from more than 14 nations worldwide.
